Practices often start with prayer, fostering a strong sense of community and shared faith among the team. They use tools such as the huddle, which includes film study, weight room, strength and conditioning, and Bible study. All of this together emphasize values such as integrity, perseverance, and teamwork, using the sport as a platform for teaching life lessons.

Coaches teach life lessons like perseverance, teamwork, and integrity, making competitions about displaying Christ-like sportsmanship. This approach strengthens players' faith as they navigate the season's challenges and triumphs, supported by teammates and coaches.

    At Emmanuel, cheerleading blends athleticism with faith, fostering both physical and spiritual development. Practices and games include prayers and devotionals, highlighting the importance of faith in daily life while coaches instill values like humility, dedication, and teamwork. High flying stunts, beautiful tumbling, and fun and engaging cheers are what you can expect to see out of our cheerleaders. The cheerleading squad supports the basketball team and serves as a positive role model, promoting Christian principles and inspiring others through their performances and commitment to excellence.
